A custom birthday video game from Birthdaycade costs $200. That is one price, for one game, built by hand from scratch for one kid. There are no packages or add-ons to compare.
I build these myself, so I can tell you exactly where the money goes. Most of it is time: the character, the world and the goal all get made around your kid, not dropped into a template.
What the $200 includes
You get a real, personalized 2D 8-bit game that plays on any phone, with touch controls and nothing to install. It is hosted for you and delivered as a link, so you can text it to the grandparents or hand your phone to a guest at the party.
Your kid's character, the setting and the goal are built into the game itself. If you have a couple of inside jokes or a family running bit, those go in too. See the real games I've already built to get a feel for the size: roughly ten minutes of play.
Original characters only
Every character is original artwork made for your kid. That rules out licensed characters like Mario or Elsa, and it also means the character belongs to your kid and nobody else.
How ordering works
There is no online checkout yet. You fill out the get started form with your kid's details and party date, and I follow up directly to settle timing and payment. Because each game is built by hand, I take a limited number each month, and I will tell you honestly if your date won't fit.
FAQ
Is $200 per game or per child?
It is per game, and each game is built for one kid.
Can my kid be a licensed character like Mario or Elsa?
No. Every character is original, made for your kid. That is a firm rule.
Do we need to download anything to play?
No. The game is a mobile web game, so it opens from a link on any phone.
What if my party is only a few weeks away?
Ask anyway. I would rather tell you it won't fit than take the booking and hope, because a missed birthday isn't a deadline you get to slip.
